Lovely Ladies

On the last day of Japanese New Year, we went to Kamakura. Mobs of people and tourists. Lots of traditional dress. These 3 young ladies looked so pretty. I asked them if I could take their picture and send it to family and friends in the USA.  They replied "America" ? When I said yes, they giggled and consented. So cute!

Temple Spires in Tokyo

We were delighted to come out of a mall in Tokyo and see the beautiful Temple Spire in the distance with the Sun shinning on it!

Surprising encounter in Yokosuka

Lovely performance, but not one we were expecting to see here in our city.  We are constantly surprised and delighted are the what we are finding. We love being here.

Cemetery in Tokyo

There are cemeteries- Shinto and Buddhist  all through the cities. This one is in Tokyo.  They are beautiful and reverent places of peace.

360 steps

We are on our way to a Missionary Zone conference in Yamate.  These girls are on their way to school at the same time.  360 steps I counted! It was on top of this hill that Japan was dedicated for LDS Missionary work in 1907. There were no steps then!

Car stickers

One indicates we are new drivers in Japan,  and the other let's them know we are old! A double whammy!
